Description
Item Description:This project developed a performance-based specification for automated distress data collections systems based on analysis of data provided by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), analysis of data collected under this research study, and discussions with three experienced providers of distress data collection. The research team also assisted TxDOT in preparing a detailed scope of work or specifications to procure equipment and services. The research team recommends that this specification be revisited when the Department obtains RFP responses from the vendors.
