Item Description:	"This is the first book supported by the special fund established at The Book Club of California in the memory of Dorothy and David Magee. The book was designed by Ward Ritchie and the title page set in Goudy Scripps type with the permission of Scripps College. The text type of Goudy Deepdene was set by Mackenzie-Harris Corp. Five hundred and fifty copies were printed by Richard Hoffman, fifty of which reserved for Scripps College, and bound by Kater-Crafts."--Colophon. Title-page in green and black. The Cushing Library/Lowman/Book Design copy is inscribed by the author to the Lowmans; contains publisher's prospectua and order envelope.
