| Item Description: | "A project of Javier Peres"--No. 1, colophon. Individual issues have different themes or contents as well as different artists involved in their creation. Many of the featured artists are represented by Peres Projects. No. 1 is an autobiographical photoessay by gallery owner Javier Peres in collaboration with Terrence Koh. Number 2, known as "Lady Daddy," includes an insert called "Lady" by Matthew Greene. Number 3, titled "Fleur du Mal," is entirely the work of Kirstine Roepstorff. Number 4, known as "Black Daddy," is guest edited by Franz West. Number 5 is guest edited by Dan Colen and is known as "Teen Daddy." Number 6 is known as "Occult Daddy." Number 7, titled "Red Daddy," and number 8, "Daddy Uklanski," guest edited by Peter Uklanski, were packaged together in a special double issue. "Greek Daddy," which is unnumbered, was published between number 6 and 7. The Cushing Library/Women & Gender Studies copies were acquired as part of the Antonio C. LaPastina and Dale Rice Collection. |
