Summary:The Louisiana Coastal Area (LCA) Program is a partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Louisiana's Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, and was authorized in the Water Resources Development Act of 2007. The program consists of "a systematic approach to coastal restoration using critical near-term ecosystem restoration projects and large-scale, long-term studies and programs to restore natural features and ecosystem processes." The LCA website contains project reports and supporting documents as well as interactive project maps.
