30 year lease (starting 25 March 1514) records an exchange of land in Ipswich, Suffolk, between the bailiffs, burgesses and communality of the town of Ipswich ("Yepiswiche"), and William Hill of East Bergholt, Suffolk "clothmaker". Six parcels of land are identified, with William Hill granting the first three, totalling three acres, to Ipswich. "The fenn next Saynt Thomas Chapell" is mentioned, as well as "Cleydon Strete". The three parcels granted to William Hill by Ipswich, with the permission of farmers Thomas Mancer, John Blewgat and Richard Lenaker, totalled two acres together with an additional plot named "Wattis Gardyn".
