Item Description:	Drawing shows the plaza in Alcalá de Henares, the birth place of Cervantes. Features the monument to 'Miguel de Cervantes', the work of Italian sculptor Pedro Nicoli in1879. The remains of the church where Cervantes was baptized on October 9, 1547 and the tower of Santa María is in the background. Facsimile signature in lower right corner. Purchased by donor in Alcalá de Henares in 2005, during the 400th anniversary celebration of the publication of Don Quixote.
