Description
Abstract:This paper is concerned with the description of an algorithm for generating the B-nets of box splines and the comparison of its applications with the recurrence relation for evaluating a box spline as well as the line average algorithm for generating a box spline surface. Our result shows that a combination of our algorithm with others provides an efficient method for evaluating a box spline and displaying a box spline surface.
