Item Description:	Cover title. Includes work by Robert Graves (first printing of "Advice to lovers", "One hard look"), Siegfried Sassoon, Edmund Blunden, Robert Nichols, and others. Bound in white paper covered boards printed in red and black. The Cushing Library/Ragan Military copy is stamped "For Review" on contents page. The Cushing Library/Ragan Military copy was acquired as a set of four issues of The Owl, former ownership attributed to Siegfried Sassoon. The set is housed together in a special clamshell box with a spine label "The Owl - Siegfried Sasson's Copies." The four piece set is composed of two copies of the first issue of The Owl, a copy of the second issue of The Owl with a stamp on the title page indicating it "For Review", and a copy of the third issue, The Winter Owl which is inscribed "Mother, with love from Sig. Xmas 1923."
