Frontispiece is an engraving depicting a hoofed man on a pedestal, with fingered dog at its base. The bookseller's name in the imprint is fictitious; cf. Treadwell, M.: "Of false and misleading imprints". In: Fakes and frauds, 1989, pp. 41-43. At foot of title page: Price one shilling. Initials; head and tail pieces.
