Item Description:	Comic opera in two acts, possibly a collaboration by composers Benedikt Schack, Franz Xaver Gerl, and Johann Baptist Henneberg; libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder. Edited from copyists' manuscripts in the Thüringische Staatsarchiv Rudolstadt, Hofkapelle Rudolstadt (2720, olim S 199), the manuscript libretto in the Sächsische Landesbibliothek Dresden, and other sources. Includes introduction and critical report. Appendix comprises piano-vocal scores of three arias.
