Item Description:Title from verso of will.
Handwritten vellum copy of will witnessed December 8 1866. Fowler died October 24 1870. Attached with strip of paper and folded with printed probate document dated December 1 1870. At end of strip of paper is an embedded in paper covered wax wafer seal "Seal of the Court of Probate, Principal Registry" with the arms of the British monarchy. Probate document completed in manuscript includes Queen Victoria fiscal revenue stamps in dark blue with, date stamped 1870 and 1872 (as vellum can't be stamped, the blue paper stamp is glued and stapled to the front, and a paper cipher glued to the back covering the metal staple). Verso of probate document signed 17 Feb, 1872 for the controller of stamping.
Estate left to James Fowler Heyworth.
