| Abstract: | A simple method is presented for designing curves by Bézier segments that meet with certain geometric continuity. The new curve is still piecewise quadratic with a doubled number of quadratic segments, but with the same number of inflection points and the same number of possible curvature discontinuities. The application to surfaces is also discussed. |
