| Summary: | Shot on location in five U.S. cities, WOMEN'S MARCH is a story about democracy, human rights, and what it means to stand up for your values in today's America. On January 21, 2017, hundreds of thousands of women marched on Washington, D.C. That same day, hundreds of sister marches took place nationally and globally to become the largest one-day protest in American history. Filmed on location in Boston, San Francisco, Oakland, Santa Rosa, and Washington, D.C., the film explores several women's motivations to march. For some, it was their first time. For others, it was a continuation of a decades-long fight for human rights, dignity, and justice. For all, it was an opportunity to make their voices heard to express to the incoming administration that women's rights are human rights. |
