Summary:	Kvinna utan ansikte: Married to Frida solely because she was pregnant, Ragnar had a passionate side-affair with Rut. Rut's sexual feelings were highly neurotic because she had been sexually abused by her stepfather. She left Ragnar when it would hurt most. He tried to kill himself, but was saved. Eva: Bo lost his childhood friend, a blind girl to an accident. He is haunted by nightmares and the death of his friend and is plagued with guilt. He marries, and lives on an island off the coast of Sweden. His wife is pregnant and when it is time for her to give birth he needs to row the stormy seas, but once more feelings of guilt that he may be responsible for another death overcomes him.
