"The purpose of this report is to show how the precision of this approximate project completion time distribution can be evaluated using a newly developed (Technical Report #59) multivariate Gram-Charlier expansion of the project completion time distribution in terms of the moments of the activity duration distributions. Since the approximating two-point discrete activity duration distributions and the true activity duration distributions have the same first three moments, the precision of the approximating project completion time distribution is evaluated in terms of the true and approximating fourth moments"--Page 3.
