Description
Abstract:Transportation agencies are pressured to ensure proper allocation of transportation investments and financial resources. Choosing the right combination of congestion mitigation and mobility strategies is crucial to ensuring the judicious and prudent use of these funds. TTI researchers developed the Future Improvement Examination Technique (FIXiT) sketch planning tool to help planners make these choices. PRC 17-82 describes an updated version of the FIXiT tool, improved to make it more responsive and simple to use.
