Description
| Abstract: | This report summarizes research into novel methods for structural dynamical simulations and control of large nonlinear motions of multi-body systems. A new Order N method is introduced which is shown to be a significant advancement for computing motions of nonlinear multi-body systems. A method is introduced for establishing globally stable maneuvers of flexible structures; both analytical and experimental results are presented. A new integration process is established which used the work/energy equation to stabilize the numerical integration of structural system differential equations. |
