Prior treatment received at VA has not worked, including virtual reality treatment. Viewers examine Kristi effectively trying a different approach, based on her ABC Model of Crisis Intervention. Kristi Kanel is a Professor of Counseling Psychology at California State University Fullerton. She is the author of the best-selling book Crisis Interventions, 5th edition (Cengage) and is also a clinician in private practice specializing in trauma.
