Item Description:	Collection of items from Proud of Froud Society, headed by Ian and Betty Ballantine of Bantam/Ballatine Books. Some photocopies. Brian Froud was the conceptual designer and costume designer for the movies "The Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth". Includes: Society constitution and by-laws (2 leaves); bulletin (4 issues (1-2 leaves), 1 x dated November 30, 1977, 1 x dated 9/5/79); typed letters on Proud of Foud Society headed paper (1 x dated January 14, 1984); typed biography and bibliography of Froud (1 leaf, [1975?]); press releases ; book reviews. Many of the bulletins are signed by Betty and Ian Ballantine.
