Issued in sheets with the monthly numbers of the Royal American magazine, beginning with the issue for Jan. 1774. Gatherings S and T, pages 137-152, included with the issue for Feb. 1775, were the last published of the History, which ends abruptly in mid-sentence.
Joseph Greenleaf assumed publication of the Royal American magazine with the July 1774 issue.
