A compleat system of husbandry and gardening; or, The gentleman's companion, in the business and pleasures of a country life : Shewing, I. The several new and most advantagious ways of tilling, planting, sowing, manuring, ordering, and improving of all sorts of gardens, orchards, meadows, pastures, corn-lands, woods, and coppices. As also of fruits; corn, grain, pulse, new-hays, cattle, fowl, beasts, bees, silk-worms, fish, and fish-ponds. II. The Husbandman's monthly directions. The Country gentleman's companion; or, The farmer's complete accompt-book, for the pocket or desk, for the year 1795 : Being a short and easy method of keeping accounts, with the greatest exactness and regularity, whether in the corn, dairy, or grasing line. By this mode, the most capital in their way will be enabled to adjust (or settle) their accounts in a few minutes, once in the week, as nothing more will be necessary than to set down, in figures only, the sum given or received for (or opposite to) any article, commodity, or thing, so bought or sold, to cast them up once a week, and carry the amount to the end of the book, where, at the close of the year, the profits will be seen at one view. To which are annexed, some useful tables, &c.
