The reply, sometimes attributed to Sheridan, is in fact most probably by Edmund Burke (compare Todd, 'A bibliography of Edmund Burke', pages274).
This edition was probably privately printed for distribution to the members of both Houses of Parliament.
Contains an advertisement warning that "very inaccurate copies of the communication made by Mr. Pitt .. and of his Royal Highness's reply, .. appeared in the daily prints, ..".
