My good friends and brother-freemen, I shall now without any preamble, take unto consideration your late petition to His Grace the Duke of Northumberland, which I adverted to in my last, and which I intend now to consider more fully as to the matter of it; and sorry I am to say that it does no credit either to the composer or to the subscribers.
