Item Description:	Imprint from colophon. Signatures: AA⁸ BB⁶ A-R⁸ S-T⁶. Text in two columns (66 lines). The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy is bound in tooled vellum over original wooden boards with metal clasps, includes manuscript waste in between pages near the beginning and end of the book, contains a bookplate, and has some annotations throughout in an early hand. "The individual tools on the binding reveal that this copy was shipped from Venice to Augsburg, where it was bound in a workshop now known as the 'Second Bird Decorator' (so named after a specific stamp used bt the bindery)" -- A Legacy of Letters, exhibit catalog for the Loran L. Laughlin Collection exhibit (Cushing Memorial Library & Archives, 2012).
