Item Description:	Dedication to the Prince of Wales, by John Gray. Left by the author to the care of his friend John Gray, who wrote the dedication. The prologue and epilogue were furnished by James Hammond. cf. Dict. nat. biog. Also issued as part of: "The works of the late Mr. George Lillo", London, 1740. The title page bears an ornament with a stylised urn and foliage, and has the price at the foot. The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy was acquired as part of the Lois Goddard Morrison Collection of Eighteenth Century Literature.
