Pagination: volume 1: xvi, 430 pages, [4] leaves of plates; volume 2: vi, [2], 420 pages, [6] leaves of plates. The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy was bound by "K.E.H." and has a fore-edge painting with a short description of each painting in early manuscript on the front free endpaper. In volume 1 the painting is of William Cowper, in volume 2 the painting is of Hereford. This copy also has the ownership signature of Horatio Todd in both volumes. Volume 1, page 376 misnumbered 176. |
