To obviate the mistakes of an explanatory paper sent to the common rooms on Monday last, it may be sufficient to observe, that the statute Tit. 10. s. 2. SS. 2. is chargeable with no absurdity, if the words jam condita be understood to relate to the former statutes of the university, so far as they remained unrepealed by the charter which confirms the present statutes.
