Item Description:	Anonymous. By David Stewart Erskine, Earl of Buchan. The text on pages 1 is headed: Dryburgh Abbey, Oct. 30. 1792. At foot of pages 20: "This specimen of the letters of Peiresc may suffice, until more shall be received to admit of selection. Dryburgh Abbey, Nov. 1. 1792". A MS. note dated "Feb. 18. 1793" on the National Library of Scotland's copy reads: "Wretchedly printed in the neighbouring village of Kelso, ..".
