Flin's sale catalogue of books : For the year 1764, consisting of a curious collection of learning both ancient and modern, in most languages, arts and sciences, viz. Architecture, astronomy, divinity, geography, gardening, husbandry, mathematicks, physic, surgery, anatomy. Also variety of travels, voyages, history, biography, novels, and other books of entertainment, with many of the best variorum classics in folio, quarto, and octavo. Being the libraries of the Late Charles Delafaye, of Westbury, in Wilts Esq. that ingenious antiquary, Mr. Ralph Thoresby, of Leeds, in Yorkshire, both deceased, and others. Which begins selling at Flin's shop, the Bible in Castle-street, Dublin, on Monday October 31st 1763, and to continue on sale untill midsummer next. The lowest price for ready money being marked to each book. To prevent idle demands for catalogues, the price of 4d is fixed on each, which will be remitted in the first purchase that amounts to 5s. [S]aid Flin gives most money for any library or parcel of books.

Flin's sale catalogue : For the year 1770. Of a valuable and curious collection of books, many of them entirely new. Consisting of near 10,000 volumes in most languages and faculties. Many scarce pieces in history, voyages, travels, philosophy, mathematics, divinity, physic, natural history, &c. &c. Lately purchased and collected with much pains. The lowest price (for ready money only) being marked in this catalogue to each book. Part the first. N.B. The several languages follow in order, as may be seen by the index, on the other side of this page. The sale begins on Wednesday 1st. of November, 1769, at Flin's shop, at the Bible in Castle-Street, Dublin. As this catalogue is not only expensive in the taking, as well as in the printing, the publisher hopes gentlemen will not think it unreasonable that a charge is made for it or a British sixpence, which shall be remitted in the first purchase that amounts to one Crown.-Most money for libraries or parcels of good books may be had, by applying as above.
