(This work, pursuant to Mr. Prior's last will and testament, contains a full account of his political life, viz. His negotiations, commissions, warrants, and letters, from his first entrance into public business to his death; and contains the letters which passed between him and the Lords Manchester, Jersey, Dursley, Duke of Shrewsbury, Earl of Hallifax, &c. Mr. Prior's journal of his transactions in France from 1713 to 1715, and the letters which passed between him, the Lord Dartmouth, Lord Bolingbroke, &c. the proceedings against Mr. Prior at his return home, with what passed at his examination before a committee of the privy council; drawn up by himself; and his answer to the report of the Committee of Secrecy.
