A new and easy method to find the longitude at land or sea : From the observation of the altitudes of the c^D oelestial bodies only; without having any recourse to eclipses, the satellites of Jupiter, the doctrine of appulses, or the magnet; and without the use of clock-work, dials of any fort, sand-glasses or pendulums; or any other instrument, but a sextant, quadrant, or astrolabe.
