Item Description:	Place of publication follows publisher's name on title page. "This book was produced by The Arion Press in San Francisco under the direction of Andrew Hoyem. The Monotype was composed by Mackenzie-Harris. The photolithography was printed by Phelps-Schaefer with color separations by Gregory & Falk. The paper, supplied by Andrews/Nelson/Whitehead, is Rives Offset. The binding was done by Cardoza-James. The edition, limited to 600 copies, was completed in the fall of 1982"--Colophon. The eighty-eight unnumbered pages include forty-four drawings of California missions, with corresponding text on facing pages.
