Covers works printed by Wilson at the following presses: Ark Press, Greenwood Press, Phoenix Press, Sign of the Interplayers, 343 Front Street, University of California Press, Press in Tuscany Alley. "Limited to three hundred and twenty-five copies"--Colophon. Many of the ill. are original leaves from books printed by Wilson, tipped in at their proper places. Some are mounted photographs. "The paper was specially handmade by Barcham Green & Company, Maidstone, Kent, England. The text types were composed by Mackenzie-Harris Corporation in monotype Centaur designed by Bruce Rogers and Arrighi by Frederick Warde. The display lines were handset in the Palatino Italic of Hermann Zapf, who handlettered the author's name for the title page. The line cuts were made by Bauer Engraving Company. The photographs were laser-scanned and printed in duo-blacks by Mastercraft Press, Inc. The binding was executed by The Schuberth Bookbindery"--Colophon. Includes index. LC has copy number 214. |
