In the Netherlands, the DOK Library uses creative thinking, multimedia displays, marketing and outreach efforts to bring its collection to its community, while in Spijkenisse, the award-winning design of the library is serving as a centerpiece for an expansion and development of the city. The San Diego County Library uses innovative and extensive programming to bring its services and materials to a wide range of library users throughout Southern California and the Darien Public Library has created a vibrant library by encouraging and actively practicing innovation at all levels.
