| Item Description: | The British Museum Catalogue supplies the name: "Johann Jacob Heidegger, pseud." (perhaps John James Heidegger). Apparently a satire on the "present Congress at Aix-la-Chapelle." Title vignette. The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy is unbound and stab-sewn, is wanting the plates, and contains the bookseller's description. It has an ownership signature on the title page and what are presumably names (only the first and last letters are written out; the other letters are represented by dashes) written by the Dramatis Bestiae. |
