All three dramatically reveal how the impact of this single bomb forever transformed their lives and their thinking. Despite the enormous wartime tragedy, their common humanity transcended previous hatreds, providing hope the Nagasaki bomb would be the last atomic weapon ever dropped in warfare. Nagasaki Journey features recently discovered film footage shot by Marines during their occupation, as well as striking photos taken the day after the blast by Japanese Army photographer Yosuke Yamahata.
