| Item Description: | Title page and calendar in red and black. Signatures: A-B⁸ C⁴. "Perkins, 1678. A prognostication for the year of our Lord God, 1678" has separate dated title page with "printed by Robert White" in imprint; register is continuous. The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy is bound in gilt-paneled red morocco, with the crowned monogram of Charles II in each corner and horizontal vellum divider strips between each almanac. It was bound in the workshop of Samuel Mearne -- bookseller's description. The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy is a Sammelband (bound with) of 23 almanacs.
