Preceding calendar are a table in red and black of all the bishopricks in England and Wales, and a small woodcut of the anatomical man, describing the moon's influence on various parts of the body. Calendar in red and black, with two pages for each month listing Dominical Letters, saints' days, phases of the moon, and parts of the body affected by the position of the planets on any given day. Includes sections on all the fairs in England and Wales, listed alphabetically by town, a geographical description of highways from town to town, with distances; a short "astrologo-physicial" discourse; and astrological accounts of the four seasons and eclipses of 1678. Advertisements for books on astrology on page [40]. Signatures: A-B⁸ C⁴ [$4 signed]. The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy is bound in gilt-paneled red morocco, with the crowned monogram of Charles II in each corner and horizontal vellum divider strips between each almanac.
