| Item Description: | Remainder of title page: Wherein is contained (besides the state of the year) the solar ingresses, various configurations, aspects, conjunctions and diurnal motions of the planets, with the rising, southing, and setting of the moon, according to the method of Mr. Vincent Wing. Also an account of such eclipses that shalt happen this year. Together with useful tables, and all other furniture that may conduce to the compleating such a work, accommodated to the meridian of London, where the Pole Artick is elevated above the horizon 51 degr. 32 min. and without sensible errour may serve for any part of Great Britain. Title page in red and black, within black ruled border; roman and italic type. Preceding calendar are lists of important days of the year, term dates, chronology of the kings and queens of England, tables of the positions of the moon during the year, and tide tables for London Bridge. Calendar in black and red, with two pages for each month noting phases of the moon, positions of the planets, saints' days, and Dominical Letters. Included are notes on the parts of the body affected by planetary movements; astronomical and astrological observations for the year, with small woodcut diagrams; interest tables; and descriptions of the comet of 1677, and the four quarters (seasons) of the year. Last [2] pages contain advertisements for books, surveyors, chemist's shops, and anti-scurvy pills. Signatures: A-C⁸ [$4 signed ( -A₁, A₃, A₄, B₄)]. The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy is bound in gilt-paneled red morocco, with the crowned monogram of Charles II in each corner and horizontal vellum divider strips between each almanac.
