Subtitle varies slightly: "Commencés d'imprimer l'an 1701 à Trévoux, & dédiés à Son Altesse Sérénissime, Monseigneur le duc du Maine" (avril 1731-décembre 1733) ; "Commencés d'être imprimés l'an 1701 à Trévoux, & dédiés à Son Altesse Sérénissime Monseigneur le duc du Maine" (janvier 1734-juin 1736) ; "Commencés d'être imprimés l'an 1701 à Trévoux, & dédiés à Son Altesse Sérénissime le Prince souverain de Dombes" (juillet 1736-décembre 1765) ; "Commencés en 1701 & connus sous le nom de Journal de Trévoux" (juillet 1766-décembre 1767), le faux-titre et le titre courant portant alors "Journal de Trevoux"

The Cushing Library/Dawson French copies from 1755-1756 contain a bookseller's description and are housed in a solander box containing 12 issues.
a The Cushing Library/Dawson French copy from Janvier 1743 has an elaborate bookplate designed by A. F. Schoy and engraved by E. Vermorcken on front paste-down; gold stamps on front and back covers of calf binding; and "Memoires de Trevoux" as the spine title. August Felix Schoy and Eduard Vermocken were Belgian artists in the 19th century.
