| Item Description: | Each novel originally published separately between 1776 and 1778, with its own title page indicating different printers, and each includes an illustrated frontispiece. In Tome 1, the first, fourth, fifth and sixths novels were originally printed "chez la Veuve Duchesne, Libraire", and the second and third novels "chez Costard, LIbraire".
