Abstract:This workshop presented guidelines on the design and construction of thin high-performance hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlays. The first half of the workshop dealt with the types of thin overlays, materials used, specifications, mix design. The second half of the workshop discussed project inspection, tack coat/bondign udnerseals, mixture placement and compaction, and acceptance testing.
