| Abstract: | Tx-Recycol is an asphalt overlay design program tailored for asphalt mixes containing Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) and Reclaimed Asphalt Shingles (RAS). It predicts asphalt overlay performance in terms of both rutting and cracking. Tx-Recycol can help pavement engineers to design best asphalt mixes with RAP and RAS suitable for the specific pavement conditions including traffic, climate, overlay thickness, and existing pavement conditions.Program for the design of asphalt overlay projects and analysis of data to assess their performance. Provides an interface for researchers to input data and view results in the form of charts, including cracking rate and rut depth for different overlay mixes. Output of data is in Excel format and can be incorporated into electronic documents and reports. |
