Description
Summary:A video from ECU's archive of documentaries and teaching films. A Conversation on Research is presented by Dr Glenda Campbell-Evans, Associate Dean, Faculty of Education, Edith Cowan University, who talks to guest speaker Dr Judith Bell, Honorary Professorial Fellow, Open University, United Kingdom.Dr Judith Bell discusses, in detail, research issues addressed in her book Doing Your Research Project. Dr Bell contends that if you are a beginning researcher, the problems facing you are the same whether your task is to write a Master project, thesis or dissertation or a doctoral thesis. Researchers need to identify and bound the topic, refine and focus the topic through definition and review of relevant literature. Dr Bell refers to developing and using an analytic framework and provides insight into the art of writing up the research results. Producer: George Karpathakis
