Description
Summary:The Kyoto meeting had the objective of promoting research development in mathematical biology, in particular of enhancing cooperative research activity on an international scale and of encouraging a broadening exchange of information. The papers collected here deal with current topics of research in mathematical biology, and are classified into three chapters: I. Mathematical ecology and population biology; II. Mathematical theories of pattern and morphogenesis; III. Theoretical neurosciences and related problems in physiology. They present the newest results on various important problems in these respective areas.
