Description
Summary:This book summarizes all the important methods of radio- logical measurementin children and the normal values they provide. Only by knowing the limits of normality can ab- normalities be assessed, but because normal anatomy and anatomical proportions may differ considerably between children, andmay also vary during growth, the total number of measurements that may be required in individual patients is extremely large. This makes tables of reference data a necessity for even the experienced radiologist. Uniquely here data from the literature have been recalculated and are all presented as upper and lower normal limits (plus or minus 2 standard deviations) allowing easy comparison of different measures.
