| Summary: | This volume is one of a set of concise, well illustrated and authoritative studies of natural and experimental lesions of laboratory animals arranged by organ system. Volumes 11 and 12 the latest in a set of twelve are devotedto pathologic lesions in nonhuman primates. The first volume includes data on diseases which affect two or more anatomic systems. The second is arranged by anatomic systems. Precise differential diagnostic criteria and terminology are given emphasis. Included are useful data on pathogenesis, etiology, biologic behavior, frequency in different species under varying laboratory conditions. The significance of each lesion is considered and comparisons are made with other species including man. References to the world literature have been selected to permit access to the critically important publications of each subject. |
