Summary:Today's managers and decision makers face an escalating challengge in understanding the dynamics of their organizations. A key element in this debate, which is currently the subject of a great deal of interest, is the nature of the linkage, or convergence, between (I) organizational change and transformation, (II) corporate planning and attempts to implement the planning at all levels in the process of transformation, and (III) the role of information technology and systems for decision support and communication in organizations. This book was conceived to address this challenge.
