| Item Description: | A street map made up of the titles of over 700 TV programmes including British classics such as Coronation Street, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Fawlty Towers, Downton Abbey and Grange Hill and American dramas such as TwinPeaks, Homeland, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, The West Wing, Sex and the City and Baywatch. The Map, which is loosely based on the style of a 1960's Washington street map (home to America's first TV station) plays homage to TV gold with fictional districts dedicated to the Simpsons, South Park, Sesame Street, Kid's TV and Sci Fi and features landmarks named after some of TV's biggest stars such as Oprah Winfrey, Ricki Lake, Nick Park, Harry Hill, and Benny Hill. There's an A-Z key at the base of the Map listing all TV programme featured along with the country of origin and the date of first broadcast.
