Description
Summary:This volume is the product of an experiment in education. A concise and informative prospectus was submitted in the fall of 1949 by the Social Science Research Council to the Carnegie Corporation of New York and provided funds for a seminar to be conducted under the general sponsorship of the council. In the prospectus it was proposed that a group of psychologists meet with the purpose of discussing the status and current problems of learning theory. The informal papers they presented at their meetings are presented again here. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2005 APA, all rights reserved).
